Exp.At’19 a week overview

Last week at Madeira, all the Exp.AT’19 activities proved to be a good forum to interact and discuss with other researchers on Air Quality Monitoring (AQM).


It started last Tuesday, June 11th, at 18h with a Workshop session at the Engineers Association of Madeira. Called “Real-Time Air Quality Monitoring via an Online Platform Supported by Low-Cost Nanosensors”, it had more than 30 assistants and presentations of the project Nanosen-AQM from Esther Hontañón (CSIC), about the nano-sensors development by Philippe Menini (CNRS-LAAS ) and Lionel Presmanes (CNRS- CIRIMAT) and about the project online platform by Filipe Araújo (UÉVORA).


On Thursday, the 13th from 10h20 to 11h50, it was successfully presented a demo of the Nanosen-AQM’s online platform for the air quality data.


And finally at the Exp.At’19 Conference, on the morning of the Friday 14th took place an “Air Quality Monitoring” session with presentations from the project partners Sergio Masa (CSIC), Patricia Arroyo (UEX) and Catarina Silva (FTUC) on different outcomes related with the NanoSen-AQM like the nano-sensor material development, the electronic system devices and the online platform for real-time air quality monitoring.
