NanoSen-AQM Project at CONAMA 2018

Researchers from Universidad de Extremadura and Junta de Extremadura presented the scope and first results of the project of NanoSen-AQM at the Congreso Nacional de Medio Ambiente (CONAMA) that took place from 24-29 of November of 2018 in Madrid.

This year has been one of the most successful editions, with more than 120 activities, with a high technical level, and the presence of more than 8,000 attendees, which makes Conama one of the most attended periodic congresses in Spain. This year, more active participation of public administrations at different administrative levels has been noted, a greater involvement of the business sector and a great deal of work on the part of social organizations.

The presentation of the NanoSen-AQM project took place on Thursday, November 29, in the Air Quality session (ST-22), in which presentations were also made of other projects such as TECNAIRE, LIFE RESPIRA, IKAAS and ICARUS along with presentations of air quality plans by different town halls (Granada, Zaragoza, Valladolid, among others). The session had a large influx of people, being the room at the full capacity throughout the day.

In the presentation of the NanoSen-AQM project, the main objectives and tasks of the Project were reviewed, and the first developments and prototypes were shown.
